Another Version of the Truth

Ladies and Gentlemen, umbrellas and walking sticks, I come before you to stand behind you to tell you something I know nothing about…

Ok ok, I’ve been slack and haven’t blogged for ages. It’s mainly due to the heavy workload I’ve had over the last couple of months. But I’ve just submitted the big Tender last weekend, so am free to relax a bit at work for a bit and spend some time here.

So I’m finally in my new flat as of 2½ weeks ago and I’m loving it. It’s 5min walk from Clapham junction and only a 15min relaxing train ride to work. It’s also within 5min train ride of many of my friends who live around here and only 10min into Waterloo or Victoria Stations in Central London. So it really makes my life a whole lot easier taking 20min each way off these journeys from where I was before. It’s a 3 bedroom apartment living with an Irish guy and an Aussie girl. We all get along well and it’s a nice relaxed vibe to the place. There’s plenty of room to crash if you’re over this way!

Travelwise – I’ve been to Prague for 4 days over Easter with Turtle and Coester which was fun and really a topic for another blog. But until then here’s a link to some photos from the weekend:

This weekend coming is the first May Bank Holiday weekend. Myself and 5 others (so far) are joining a guided tour and heading over to Normandy for 3 days. I’m trying to read up a bit on the history (primarily the Battle of Normandy) so I’ll find the places we visit a bit more interesting.

Other things on the agenda: long weekend in Snowdonia, Northern Wales later this month with some uni Buddies, A Trip to Leeds in July to Celebrate both Tim’s 30th Birthday and his Engagement to the wonderful Kirsty (different one ha ha) – so congratulations to them!!

Also on the Congratulations list is Peter and Nic who are now proud parents of the lovely Annabel, who is about 5 weeks old now. I was looking for the Godfather role, but I’m not the right religion, so might have to wait for another sprog to tell “Don’t go against the family” to.

Well, there you go for a bit. I hope all my readers are well. (All 3 of them) and hope you haven’t totally given up checking to see if I’ve written anything new.
